Mapped OSM roofs and broad building faces are traversable. Rivers slow your pace. Hold a direction and sprint for county travel; slow down to explore. Wall runs have a finite lift budget and expire after 1.6 seconds. Land or leave the wall to recharge.
The county is drawn at true scale: 1 unit is 1 metre, 38.6 × 57.2 km. Buildings, roads, rivers and the Route 66 alignment come from an offline OpenStreetMap snapshot; terrain height and trees are procedural. The 2,753-footprint count measures mapped OSM data, not every real building. Only the explorer is out of scale: the original 26 m/s run and 68 m/s sprint remain intact; sustaining sprint for three seconds unlocks a 92 m/s secondary sprint and cape flight. Jump height is pressure-sensitive, with one aerial double jump. Cape flight uses a momentum-exchange model steered by mouse aim: the ring is where you are pointing, the small circle is where you are actually going; diving banks energy, climbing spends it. Stick mode and pitch inversion live in Settings, W/↑ adds thrust, S/↓ brakes, A/D or ←/→ yaws, and releasing sprint while holding leap commits to a slow glide. Warp with 1–6 or click the map for county-scale travel. Comfort mode disables camera roll and speed-FOV effects.
Cape-flight control logic is adapted from the Super Mario Wiki — Cape Mario description supplied for this build.
Ground controls remain camera-relative. Flight uses a chase camera and separates mouse attitude from keyboard or mouse-button propulsion.
Bindings use physical key positions (KeyboardEvent.code), not typed characters. Click a slot, then press any key or mouse button. Delete / Backspace clears; Esc cancels. Two bindings per action, Call-of-Duty style.

Real OSM positions; schematic shapes and untagged dimensions estimated. Terrain remains procedural. Rails, bridge railings and site boundaries are visual guides—not surveyed engineering. Counts are mapped objects, not a census. Unmapped structures remain absent.
